How to make copies of Xbox Games
For the purpose of backup and burning of an Xbox game to any type of DVD, an image archive must be created. A program called Qwix seems to be the easiest do do this. To make an ISO of any game using Quix follow the instructions below:
• Software required:
◦ Winrar
◦ Qwix
◦ DVD Burning Software (Should be part of the package)
◦ DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW
◦ DVD Burner
• After a copy was made to your Xbox using the other tutorial, in your FTP client, open it and create a new folder using the name of the game. Drag it to the folder you created.
• page=isotools
• Read the Qwix Faqs thoroughly
• Open Quix.exe and when it complete
2. Next, Get a copy of Qwix…you can download Qwix 1.01 here 3. So you downloaded Qwix and now have a .rar file of Qwix. Use your .rar extractor(Winrar in my case) to extract the file.
4. Now double click Qwix again to open it in Winrar. There should be four files…open Qwix_FAQ.html and read through this thoroughly.
• Open Qwix.exe. Once Qwix loads, Choose Create ISO
• Choose a local folder as the source and then click the box with three dots all the way to the right to browse through the folders and locate the folder that holds your game files
• When you find your game folder, hit OK. Now you should be at the Original Qwix screen.
• Click the Create ISO button.
• Select the game folder and create it as an .iso file
• .When this is done, now you can use a burning software such as Nero to burn it as an image file to a DVD or CD and load it in your Xbox
• Using your burning software, select burn ISO
• Locate the folder where your saved your ISO file, and click the burn button
• It depends on how big the game is. To be safe use a DVD burner
• Congrats! You burned an Xbox game.
